Short post. I was downloading songs yesterday, a lot of them actually, and the owner of the computer shop called me out for it. He said that his IP address may be tracked or something. He has always been that grumpy but this time I was able to learn something. Although I am not really sure if these free mp3 download sites really track all the IP addresses of the people who go there for free downloads. It seems silly.
Anyways, I wanted to download Dolly Parton’s Do I ever Cross Your Mind (I know, I am such a cliche) and when I typed it, Ramiele Malubay’s version appeared. Ramiele Malubay was the 10th or 9th placer of the seventh season of American Idol. She is half Filipina, which made me root for her then. I was also one of the people who were disappointed with her performances then. I thought she was great in the early episodes though. Back to the song, I listened to it and thought it was great. Listen to it then tell me what you think.
Note: I don’t know how to post videos and audios here. I tried copying the embed codes from the sites but they are not working. Do I really have to pay for an upgrade just to eb able to do this?

EDIT: A cry for help–
I have been trying to put an mp3 player or get a song to play on my site’s widget (like when somebody visits my site there would be a background music or something like that) but nothing I’ve done worked. I have been trying to do this for hours now. Technology makes me cry. Bastard. Anyone knows how to do this? Help please.

considering it was a country song, she really did well. of all the pinoys who were in the american idol, she had the best chance. kaso sa live perfomance nya eh di bagay ang country. parang ako kapag may cowboy hat—mukha lang akong mexican farmer.
as far as adding videos, i click on “add video” button on edit page. then click the tab “from URL.” u then insert the youtube URL (not the embeded code). then voila!
then if u want to insert videos on comments, then u insert the embed code.

A lot of people also said before that Camille Velasco had a chance, although like Ramiele, she gets nervous during live performances.

hmmm… i also thought ramiele had what it takes to be an Idol, albeit, an american idol. she started out so well, powerful voice and everything. but her song choices turned out to be the wrong ones.
I don’t know if there’s any truth to what they said that the AI staff/management chooses the songs they sing, or that they have a hand over what one should sing, plus there were news that she was “sabotaged” or something…made her sing songs that weren’t the ones that fit her style and all. In any case, all reality shows have their own respective controversies, so there.
Thing is, she’s really good. I hope we can find another filipino who’d show the world what good singers filipinos are. if any, though, our success in the WCOPA (World Championships of Performing Arts) is already an indication that there are countless talented filipino singers in the country. in the recent WCOPA, philippines won more medals than the number of delegates we sent to the talent olympics.

Umm… Hindi na kasi ako nanonood ng TV, so hindi ko siya kilala. The last time I saw and AI show was when Jasmine Trias contender. I stopped watching TV after she tried selling Jasmine Trios (paparap papap).

Tagal na ni Jasmine Trias ah? Highschool pa ko nun. Hihi. Anyways, I actually liked how Jasmine sang Paparapapa. I like her sweet voice, hehe. But that’s just me.
